The Patriot All-America Invitational Recognized as a Top 10
Phoenix, Ariz. – The Arizona Golf Association (AGA), JDM Partners and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) in partnership with the Folds of Honor Foundation have created the nationally recognized Patriot All-America Invitational hosted annually at the Wigwam Arizona Golf Resort in Litchfield Park. Now, in in its fourth year, the tournament attracts 84 nationally recognized players with the PING All-America honor from the NCAA Divisions, as well as NAIA, NJCAA and AJGA rankings.
The 54-hole amateur event is the first of its kind creating a bowl-like experience, which has garnered national media coverage from ESPN and the Golf Channel to local news affiliates and collegiate news outlets. In a few short years, the Patriot All-America is already recognized as a top 10 amateur event and continues to attract the top golfers that are soon to become the next generation of PGA TOUR players.
In cooperation with the Folds of Honor Foundation, the golfers in the Patriot All-America follow an annual tradition to represent a fallen service member. Every participant receives a golf bag at the event’s opening ceremony with the name and branch of service of a fallen military member whom they shall represent. At the conclusion of the tournament, the golf bags will be auctioned with all proceeds benefitting the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while in active service.
The Patriot All-America honors the collegiate golfers for their excellence and gives back to the military thus creating a memorable event that will continue to be a mainstay in the world of golf.
