Play All Three World-Class Courses
For 70 years, exceptional golf has long been a hallmark of the Wigwam experience, earning some of the golf industry’s most prestigious accolades including Golf Magazine’s “Silver Medal Award” and Golf Digest’s “Top Resort Course in Arizona”. It’s no wonder the Wigwam is considered one of the top golf resorts, not only in the Phoenix area, but the entire country as well.
It’s the only golf resort in Arizona to boast three Championship courses. Two of which were designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Our famed Gold Course is consistently ranked among the nation’s finest golf courses. It offers nearly twice the acreage as most desert courses built today. And features elevated greens, narrow landing areas, elongated tees, and strategically placed bunkers and water hazards.
The Patriot Course, also designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., plays to 6,112 yards, and roughly follows the hole routing of the original Wigwam golf course. Scoring well requires pin-point accuracy and a strong understanding of golf strategy. Elevated greens with classic Jones bunkering will challenge your short game.
The Heritage Course was designed by Arizona Hall-of-Fame golf course architect Robert “Red Lawrence. The 6,900 yard par 72 offers challenges for all levels to the game from large greens and pine trees, to ponds and canals.
The golf courses offer incredible variety to the golfer looking for both diversity and challenge. Designed to provide a pure golf experience, the Gold, Patriot and Heritage are true parkland courses that are woven in and around the natural terrain of trees, lakes, canals and streams.
